How Much Does Botox Cost in Peoria, IL?

Client getting Botox injections for frown lines from Ann Stratton, RN, at New You Health in Peoria, IL

If you’ve ever called around asking what Botox® costs, you’ve probably heard a lot of “well, it depends.” That’s not a dodge. It really does depend. But you deserve real numbers, so here’s how pricing works at New You Health in Peoria, IL, along with a few examples.

Botox and Xeomin Prices at New You Health

We price by the unit, not by the area:

  • Botox®: $12.50 per unit
  • Xeomin®: $11.50 per unit

With per-unit pricing, you pay for exactly what your face needs and nothing extra. If your muscles are on the lighter side, you’re not paying a flat “forehead price” built for someone with a much stronger brow. Prices can change with product costs, so always check with us for the latest.

How Many Units of Botox Will I Need?

Mapped Botox injection points for forehead lines and frown lines at New You Health in Peoria, IL

Everyone’s muscles are different, but here’s a general starting point for the most common areas:

  • Frown lines (the “11s”): about 20 units
  • Forehead lines: about 20 units
  • Crow’s feet: about 24 units

Some people need less and some need more. Men and people with strong, expressive faces often need a bit more. Clients in their 20s getting “preventative Botox” often need less.

What Botox Costs in Real Dollars

Using those starting points:

AreaBotoxXeomin
Frown lines (20 units)$250$230
Forehead (20 units)$250$230
Crow’s feet (24 units)$300$276
All three (64 units)$800$736

These are examples, not quotes. You’ll get your exact price at your consultation before anything is injected, so there are no surprises when you check out.

Why Is Some Botox So Much Cheaper?

We hear this one a lot. Someone saw a deal somewhere else, tried it, and “Botox just didn’t work for me.”

Usually, Botox did work. There just wasn’t enough of it. Price comes down to two things: how many units you get and who’s injecting them. A low price can mean a diluted product or a dose too small to fully relax the muscle. When that happens, results fade in weeks instead of months, and you end up back in the chair sooner, paying again.

A fuller, well-placed dose lets the muscle relax completely and keeps nearby muscles from picking up the slack. That’s why it tends to last longer, typically three to four months. A lighter dose will usually wear off in under three.

So when you compare prices, ask how many units are included, not just what the total is.

Botox vs. Xeomin: Does the Price Difference Matter?

Xeomin runs a dollar less per unit, and both are FDA-approved for the lines we treat most. Xeomin sometimes kicks in a little faster. Some people have a clear favorite, and some are happy with either one.

Deb will help you decide at your consultation, and since we carry both, you’re not stuck with whatever one clinic happens to stock.

Ways to Save on Botox in Peoria

New-client discount. If you’ve never had Botox or Xeomin, you can get $65 off your first Botox treatment, or $50 off or 15% off your first Xeomin treatment (one or the other, not both). If you’ve had one of these before or are already in a rewards program, this offer may not apply. Using the “all three areas” example above, that brings a first Botox treatment to $735, or $686 for Xeomin with $50 off ($625.60 with 15% off).

Allē® rewards (Botox). Allergan’s Allē program earns you points on Botox and other Allergan products, including Juvéderm® filler. Don’t worry about signing up ahead of time. Xperience rewards (Xeomin). Merz’s Xperience program gives reward cards we can apply to your visit, usually when you purchase 20 to 30 units or more, plus ongoing rewards for sticking with the same provider and product.

What’s Included in Your Botox Visit

Deborah Daniels, NP, and Ann Stratton, RN, during a first-visit Botox consultation at New You Health in Peoria, IL

Every first visit starts with a full-face consultation with Deborah Daniels, our nurse practitioner and owner. We’ll go over your health history, medications, past treatments and what’s bothering you when you look in the mirror.

If your treatment is with Ann Stratton, our RN injector with 16 years in aesthetic nursing, and you haven’t met Deb yet, Deb will meet with you face to face during your appointment. You don’t need to do anything extra; we take care of it.

The treatment itself takes about 15 minutes for Botox or Xeomin. We use an ultra-fine 32-gauge needle, plus music and a vibration tool that keeps your nerves too busy to notice the pinch. There’s little to no downtime, so you can head back to work or run errands the same day.

Botox Cost FAQs

How much does Botox cost in Peoria?

At New You Health, Botox is $12.50 per unit and Xeomin is $11.50 per unit. Most areas take around 20 units, so a single area usually runs about $230 to $250 before discounts.

How often will I need to come back?

We like to see our new faces back in two weeks to make sure everything looks good and do any needed touch-ups. After that, most clients come in every three to four months. Some younger clients doing preventative Botox can stretch to every six months.

Is Botox cheaper if I get more units?

The per-unit price stays the same. But with Xperience, buying 20 to 30 units or more can earn reward cards, and Allē points add up the more you treat. Dose also matters for how long results last. If you choose less than the recommended amount, your results won’t be as complete or last as long.

Can I get a quote before I commit?

Yes. Deb and Ann give you an exact price at your consultation before any injections.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We accept CareCredit for services received on the same day (no future packages; that’s their rule, not ours) and Allē financing for Botox and other Allergan treatments. Terms for both depend on your credit.
